Not sure what the other chap was on about. As I understand it, smoking inside public buildings is against the law in Sweden, and there are only going to be so many months of the year when outdoor eating is feasible. I think giving the place such a rotten review for such a trivial reason is uncalled for.
My experience was vastly different. We arrived 10 minutes early and as our table was not ready, we were shown to comfortable chairs and given complimentary champagne and snacks while we read the menu and waited a short while.
The food was lovely, well presented with clear flavours and came with a short explanation of every dish. The waiters discretely spoke to me in English and my partner in Swedish, and remembered which of us ordered what. The wines perfectly suited the food. The bread was very tasty and the interval between courses was timed very well so that we did not end up feeling rushed or bloated by the end of the night. The atmosphere was peaceful with small rooms and no overcrowding.
Of course the bill was quite hefty but that is what I was expecting. I believe I got more than my money's worth. It was a great special night for my boyfriend's birthday.

I just came from this restaurant... What to say???? Prices are very high for Sweden and you getting only middle class service, not more!!! Food is reasonably good, even if some of it consist of too many components, so you have no idea what you eat!!!
And the last thing what makes you completeley unhappy about service (not the only one place in Sweden, sorry to say) if you have husband or wife who is smoking and you want to enjoy company together, forget about comfort!!! You need to sit outside on wet chairs (little matress comes much later) and just dream about cover or heater to feel nice and comfortable. So you can´t actually buy some drinks and coffee and enjoy your evening,(I don´t think it´s decrease income of the restaurant, everybody will agree it´s good business). All what you get it´s sorry because Sweden is so bad country- it´s like pointing to you - go where you came from!!! And they think they are very polite here!!! It is the country and the restaurants least orientated to people and their needs!!! So if you have other needs and ecspecialy smoke, think ten times before you go to this restaurant!!!
